This is definitely not just another race - share in this exciting and inspirational experience together with elite competitors, amateur athletes, enthusiastic supporters, sponsors and assistants. The increasingly popular Hermanus Race for Wheels and Runners is the only fully integrated race for wheelchairs athletes and runners in South Africa ! 

More than 600 participants enjoyed the 2009 race and we are definitely expecting more entries this year in all the various categories, including the 5, 10 and 21.1 km races. Come and join the Fun walk in anything with wheels that needs to be pushed or bring your friends for a scenic walk.

All members of the public are encouraged to participate in the Pushing Grannies Fun Walk - a great opportunity to support this emerging and unique race and provide a morning of entertainment and participation to senior citizens. Businesses are invited to enter and advertise their business with logos or to build a float that will best depict their service or business.

The route is carefully planned to ensure a safe and scenic racing environment - and where better to enjoy such a route but along the spectacular Hermanus coastline.
 Whatever your motivation and however you choose to participate - you will have fun!
